The Luna Luna x Gufram x Keith Haring furniture collection is now available.

Inspired by Keith Haring’s carousel created for Luna Luna in 1987, the collection reimagines the iconic carousel seats, the Radiant Baby and Barking Dog, as life-size furniture pieces. Once spinning in vivid color, they invite a new kind of encounter.

Handcrafted in Italy by Gufram, the historic design studio celebrated for its revolutionary design language and artisanal hand-building techniques, each piece is crafted in soft polyurethane and finished with Guflac® paint.

Produced in limited quantities, the collection brings Haring’s magical creations from the carousel into the home.

The story begins 40 years ago...

André Heller arrives in New York City in search of artists for Luna Luna, moving from studio to studio to share his vision.
André Heller meets Keith Haring, a star of the New York art scene, and the idea for a carousel quickly takes shape.
Keith Haring's preparatory sketches for the carousel.

I thought the idea sounded great because it is, in a way, something that has been a fantasy of mine since the first time that I went to Disneyland or went to amusement parks in America when I was a kid.

Keith Haring heads to Augsburg, Germany to realize the carousel in person, transforming his iconic line-drawings into three-dimensional figures.
Among these figures are Haring’s signature Barking Dog and Radiant Baby characters.

And in 1987 the world's first and only rideable Haring artwork was revealed!

Luna Luna, the world’s first art amusement park, opens in Hamburg in 1987.
Guests of all ages are invited to ride the carousel, spinning vibrantly at the heart of the fairground.

Now, you can bring a piece of the artwork home.
